An exciting role has arisen for a Fracture Prevention Practitioner to work within the Fracture Prevention Service at University Hospital Southampton. We are looking for a dedicated Band 6 nurse or AHP to join our team in delivering a Fracture Liaison Service (FLS) to facilitate secondary fracture prevention for patients over the age of 50.  Fragility fractures are often the first sign of osteoporosis and typically result from minor falls. The FLS aims to systematically identify and manage all eligible patients to reduce their risk of subsequent fractures.

If you are looking to become part of an exciting and dynamic team within Trauma & Orthopaedics whilst making a significant contribution to the service in a complex yet stimulating environment, we would like to hear from you.
