We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a B7 Paediatric Occupational therapist to join our established and highly skilled Orthopaedic team.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic person to be the OT clinical lead for the Children's Orthopaedic and Neuro-Orthopaedic service. 

You will be working supporting children and young people with wide ranging orthopaedic considerations, as we are regional specialist centre for hip reconstruction, multilevel surgery, spinal surgery, foot and ankle surgery, limb lengthening and deformity correction, upper limb surgery and a designated major trauma centre. 

You will be involved within the whole patient pathway from preoperative assessments, inpatient rehabilitation in both high care and ward areas, discharge planning, relevant home visits and post operative review working in conjunction with multiagency partners to ensure a smooth cohesive patient pathway. 

The successful post holder will become an integral part of our 40 strong combined Paediatric Therapy team and wider Therapy services department of over 300 staff, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Therapy support staff. You will have many opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge through our in-service training.
