We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic hard working clinical fellow (equivalent to ST3) who has a special interest in Lung cancer/Thoracic Oncology to join the Respiratory Department at University Hospital Southampton. 

You will be joining a department with 25 Respiratory Consultants.  We provide care for not only the local Southampton population but tertiary care for part of the south coast.  

We run a “one stop” lung cancer service, outpatient speciality clinics  and multidisciplinary team meetings (twice a week). Our Lung cancer MDT serves as tertiary referral centre.

We have regular bronchoscopy and endobronchial ultrasound lists. There is an established IPC service within respiratory medicine and this includes Medical Thoracoscopy. 

We look after around 600-700 outpatients. 

There will also be an opportunity to engage in clinical trials/research.
