We are looking for a highly skilled cardiac physiologist specialising in echocardiography with significant experience post Level 2 BSE accreditation in TTE, strong technical ability, and a passion for teaching and education. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of our education and mentoring programme on a one-year fixed-term basis.

This will include managing ETP and PTP training, competency sign-off and 1-to-1 mentoring. A comprehensive understanding of the ETP and BSE accreditation processes is essential. You will be expected to adapt to a range of training needs and work flexibly around the demands of a busy NHS department.
 
Our department operates Monday to Saturday. You may be required to work on Saturdays and bank holidays on a rotational basis with a compensatory day off during the week. Although Southampton General is our main site, there will be a regular requirement to work across multiple sites, including at community diagnostic centres.
